Twice in the semester, you will write a reflection on our week’s discussion in class. I am including this as a requirement because our intellectual development is so often galvanized by class discussion, yet the most exciting moments are often precisely the ones where we don’t pause to take notes. It is my hope that by taking turns to archive our week’s conversations, we will all benefit by having the opportunity to refresh our memory.
Your reflection may take any form you like so long as it includes specific discussion of what was said in class – you may write a description of the class day, or use a particular moment to think from.
There is no hard word limit for your reflections, but you should aim to write at least 400 words.
Reflections are due 48 hours after class, i.e. at 6pm on Saturdays.
